     ABOUT ARRAIAL D´AJUDA

     Arraial d'Ajuda is a village 4 km from Porto Seguro and is internationally known for its beautiful beaches and lush rainforest preserve. Its prime location allows guests to move easily to visit and see the most beautiful beaches from Bahia.

     The Arraial is part of the "Discovery Coast", the starting point of Brazil´s history and birthplace of the culture mix that produced a hospitable and generous people that are is ready to serve its visitors with joy and respect.

     The Arraial also represents the avant-garde in affairs that are common today, but have real significance here. Environmental preservation, cultural diversity, encouraging tolerance and the search for life in a natural style are not just empty speeches. Those are daily practices that attract artists from different parts of the world to that nice village.

     Here we have different options at day and at night, with multiple attractions in Arraial itself, like the Mucugê street, which surprises with its restaurants of typical dishes as well as haute cuisine, galleries, workshops, live music houses and many other options. There are also luaus and parties on the idyllic beaches of the region, like Apaga-fogo, Acaraípe, Mucugê, Parracho, Pitinga, Taípe, Caraíva, Praia do Espelho and Trancoso.

  

Location:

Road access to Arraial d'Ajuda can be done through two routes:

1. From Eunapolis (BR 101), follow the BR 367 road towards Porto Seguro. At Km 32, near VERA CRUZ, at the junction, go to the BA 001 road towards Arraial d'Ajuda.

2. From Porto Seguro (BR 367), cross the mouth of Buranhém river by ferry and rise to the center of Arraial d'Ajuda. The crossing takes about 10 minutes and operates daily from 15 to 15 minutes between 06: 00AM and 00:00 PM. After this time, the service will operate every 1 hour all night long.

The city of Porto Seguro offers a modern airport that receives flights from major domestic airlines and charter flights from abroad, that provide quick and convenient access to this southern Bahia paradise.
